What has Nordic walking and White Rhinos got to do with WALX With Sole?
BungyPump is a unique, all-round training tool, from Sweden, that makes exercise more fun and more effective. All poles feature around 20 cm of inbuilt suspension, and there are several different models to choose from with resistance varying between 4 and 10 kilos. We use the 4kilo Walkathon poles for our sessions.
You will get much more from your Outdoor Fitness training with us, WALX With Sole, when you use BungyPump poles with the Nordic Walking technique. The poles can be used for walking and running, but are also perfect to use as a strength training tool both indoors and outdoors.
- You are increasing your calorie burn by up to 77%!
- You are working out 95% of your muscles.
- You are going to feel amazing with the combined benefits of fresh air and our BungyPump program.
“It’s like doing a 1000 crunchies every 1km but without the pain!”
An added advantage to using these poles is that they are softer on your elbows and shoulders.
The Tigger-like bounce through your body really does give you a huge feeling of “can do” and you just want to move faster and stronger!
BungyPump is a fabulous multifunctional way to build fitness and strength at the same time. They are very versatile and we adapt our sessions for all abilities.
It is very easy to get the movement wrong so coming along to a group session ensures you stay safe. Plus we add in a lot of fun moves so you can really work your whole body. It’s not just about striding out with them!
In one session you are combing a lot of different sorts of classes – Crossfit, Toning up, Strengthening, cardio aerobic, endurance and stamina building, core strengthening, weight loss, improving posture.
This also impacts positively on a variety of conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Osteoporosis, Obesity, Diabetes 2, High Blood Pressure. Yes, very similar to our regular Nordic walking, but with added extras.
Now here is a fun fact for you; every time you push down on those poles, you are pushing through 4 kilos of
resistance. So for every step you take that is 4kg.
If you take 1000 steps in 15 minutes, which is approximately 1 kilometre, you would have pushed through 4000 kilos. That’s about 4 1/2 tonnes. That is the weight of a white rhino!
How many white rhinos could you push through in an hour?
